Learning Target: I can identify the advantages and disadvantages for the Union and Confederacy

Directions: Analyze the strengths and weakness of each side by studying a chart from our textbook and watching a video.  When you feel confident that you could describe or list the advantages and disadvantages for each side, take the quiz.  

  • Read and study the chart a the top of this page, taken from page 514 of your textbook 
  • The following video was created by another teacher, Mr. Zoeller.  After searching options on the internet, I felt his video was the best one.  He includes short clips from a long movie made by the History channel and also discusses and analyses this topic well. 

(Heads up - At the end of the video, he posts four questions for his students to answer.  You will not be required to do that.  Just take the quiz after you've watched it.)
